People who bring you down are going to constantly do that. Why?
The will constantly do that until you stop accepting that nonsense from them. You and your business have more important things to do than to be worried about the "Debbie Downers".
Of course, if there is an issue with your, your product or the service you provide then address it immediately.
It is when you have done all that you can and still they keep bringing you or your organization down that it is time to cut the ropes and set them adrift. Wish them "Bon Chance" (Good Luck) and move along.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with cutting loose the ballast that slows your ship. You organization is that ship and you want that ship to be sailing at top speed. So don't feel so bad if it happens to be a long time customer or employee that you have cut loose. It is what is best for you and your organization's peace of mind and performance.
