50 Ways To Better Business: #8: How Do You Communicate With Others?

HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR STAKEHOLDERS?

Are you waiting for them to call you? or are you taking a proactive approach by delivering them the information they need before they know they need it?

If you are not Blogging, Tweeting, Facebooking, Emailing, texting, Youtubing and website updating, at the very least just the basics, then you are NOT communicating with your stakeholders.


WHAT ARE THE BASICS?  

The basics are openings and closings, holiday schedules, special announcements, and anything relating to the general operation of the business.


WHAT SHOULD YOU BE COMMUNICATING? 

All the other stuff.  By this I mean, information about your industry, your organization, employee profiles, and tips and tricks to make your service or product easier to use by your Customers/clients.

Think about anything else that you feel that all your stakeholders would want to know about you and your organization.

You can start by looking at issues that are specific to some of your clientele or all of your clientele and then create content addressing those issues.


BE  CONSISTENT!!!

Be consistent when it comes to publishing content. Don't just start and the quit...

If you find yourself lacking something to communicate, then share. Share stories and information from other areas of your industry (maybe even from your competition).  Be sure to give credit where credit is due.
